阿美族－－－台灣馬蘭社原住民，農夫，以歌聲聞名。郭英男著名的歌唱曲1996年夏季奧林匹克運動會的宣傳曲，在1993年被歐洲新世紀音樂樂團（New Age Music)「謎」節錄部分原音，與他們的歌曲「反樸歸真」（Return to Innocence）混合出版。
排灣族－－－「石板屋」，雕刻的題材以神話傳說、狩獵、祖靈像為主。排灣族祖靈像與埃及的木乃伊的雕刻藝術有部份神似。

布農族－－－曾經有文字 ，木雕「畫曆」，以類似象形字之符號及世界上獨一無二的和音方式「八部合音」－－－四部合音的音域高到某一個層次時，音軌出現了八個不同的音階，堪稱是世界音樂的瑰寶。
魯凱族－－－「石板屋」（黑灰板岩及頁岩），百步蛇圖騰，「雲豹的故鄉」之稱，族人為感恩而禁止狩獵雲豹和老鷹，巴冷公主等傳奇。
